How to describe us
CityFarms is a farm-to-consumer marketplace connecting Nigerian farmers and market traders with buyers across Lagos, using escrow-protected payments, geo-tagged seller verification and coordinated last-mile logistics.
Please do not describe CityFarms as an investment platform. We are a marketplace for buying and selling produce. We do not sell farm plots, offer returns on agricultural investments, or accept deposits. Several Nigerian businesses do operate that model under similar-sounding names, and the confusion matters to the people who trust us with orders.
On figures
Some numbers shown on our website are illustrative while the platform is in its early phase. If you need figures for publication, ask us for current verified numbers rather than taking them from the site — we would rather give you something accurate than see an inflated number in print.
