Why this page exists. A farmer who buys fake fertiliser does not find out on the day. They find out at harvest, after a full season of work and money is already spent, and there is no way to recover it. Adulterated agrochemicals and mislabelled seed are widespread enough in Nigeria that many farmers simply assume the risk as a cost of business.
We cannot fix that across the country. We can make sure that anything sold through CityFarms comes from a supplier who has been checked, whose products are NAFDAC-registered where required, and who can be held to account through the same escrow and dispute process as everyone else.

No suppliers listed yet
We are onboarding input suppliers now, and we would rather show you an empty page than a list of businesses we have not actually verified. If you supply genuine, traceable inputs to farmers in Lagos or Ogun, this is a good moment to join โ early suppliers reach farmers who are already on the platform and buying.
List your products Talk to us firstWhat we require of input suppliers
- A registered business, with documentation we can check.
- NAFDAC registration numbers for every agrochemical and veterinary product, displayed on the listing.
- Accurate composition and, where relevant, batch and expiry information.
- Willingness to be reviewed publicly by the farmers who buy from you.
Selling counterfeit or unregistered product through CityFarms means permanent removal. This is not a warning shot policy — the harm lands on smallholders who cannot absorb it.
Buying safely, wherever you buy
- Check the NAFDAC number is present and legible, and that packaging is properly sealed.
- Be suspicious of prices far below the market. Genuine input costs what it costs.
- Keep your receipt and the packaging until you have seen the product perform.
- Buying through CityFarms means escrow applies — if what arrives is not what was listed, raise it within 24 hours and the money is held while we investigate. How that works →
Also a farmer or an aggregator? Many input suppliers are. You do not need a separate account — we are building the platform so one login can hold several business lines. Get started →
