Forums are not live yet
We could have filled this page with sample discussions and invented usernames. Plenty of platforms do. But a community page showing conversations that never took place is a strange thing to ask people to trust, and it would be the first dishonest thing on this site.
So: this is empty because it is empty. Here is what it will be.

Crop-specific groups
Tomato growers face different problems from cassava growers. Splitting by crop keeps advice relevant instead of general.
Local groups
Epe, Ikorodu, Abeokuta, Ijebu-Ode, Ketu and Mile 12. Pests, weather and buyers are local problems, and neighbours often already have the answer.
Ask and answer
Post a photograph of an affected leaf and get answers from farmers who have seen it before, and from agronomists we bring in.
Buying and hiring together
Coordinate bulk input purchases or share equipment hire. Several small farms acting together get prices none of them get alone.
How it will be run
- Verified accounts only. Posting requires a verified CityFarms account. Advice about what to spray on food crops should not come from anonymous strangers.
- Moderated. Particularly around agrochemicals, where bad advice causes real harm to crops and to the people who eat them.
- No disguised selling. Suppliers are welcome to take part, but pitching under the cover of advice will not be allowed.
In the meantime. If you have a question that cannot wait, email support@cityfarms.ng — at this stage a person reads every message, and if we cannot answer we will usually know who can. We are also looking at WhatsApp as the first home for this, since it is where our farmers and traders already talk.
